Just a few days ago, Fat Joe went on Highly Questionable with the revelation that Notorious B.I.G.’s “I Got A Story To Tell” was about Anthony Mason. Then yesterday, he said that he regretted revealing the information as he believed it was public knowledge. What’s done is done, and for anybody who thought Joey Crack might be lying, Puff Daddy confirms the story.
Calling into The Breakfast Club this morning, Puff was all cheerful as he laughed at the story but backed it’s validity. After calling the song his favorite Biggie song he says “That story’s true, I can confirm that.” DJ Envy asks him if he’d go save Biggie if he was in the closet to which Diddy responded “Of course.”
Continuing on the topic of Notorious B.I.G, Puff also shot down the rumor that there will be a Biggie hologram on the Bad Boy reunion tour. “No, we’re not doing a Biggie hologram,” he said. “The hologram thing, I’m going to be honest with y’all, is a little bit funny with me.”
It’s also revealed that a documentary is happening when Puff hits the road for his final tour with the family this summer. This came after Charlamagne said he should be telling these stories and not Fat Joe. Puff explained that he believes the time to tell stories is now, hence why a documentary is in the works. I can’t even begin to imagine the tales he has locked away.
