Before Puff Daddy and his reunited Bad Boy Family officially kick off their upcoming shows, the whole gang popped up on the Today show for a preview of what’s to come. Diddy brought Ma$E, Busta Rhymes, 112 and more along with him for the performance as part of the Citi Concert Series. And with them, they brought the hits — “Pass the Courvoisier,” “Mo’ Money Mo’ Problems,” “Cookies and Cream,” “Finna Get Loose” and more — as they entertained the gathered crowd and the show’s hosts, too, who seemed to be thrilled to be partying in the presence of greatness.

The early morning performance precedes what will be a Bad Boy takeover of the Barclays Center in Brooklyn this weekend. Puff and friends will be performing back-to-back nights for two sold out shows on a weekend that happens to coincide with what would’ve been The Notorious B.I.G.’s 44th birthday. Currently, Lil Kim, Faith Evans, Mario Winans, Carl Thomas, and Total are expected to appear along with surprise special guests. Like Puff said, “This isn’t just another concert — This is hip-hop history,” but for anyone who can’t make it, don’t stress too much. The nationwide tour that follows will be hitting many cities and should be just as legendary.
